... was basically asking for death. Oh, and you basically go deaf from all of the honking.



The scenery got better as we moved inland because it became more mountainous and not as flat and smoggy as Shanghai (bleh). The roads were beautifully lined with trees and flowers... apparently it was all put there in the last ten years by thousands of workers. Welcome to fake China?

... also going to load some pictures of people sleeping. One thing I've always admired in Asia is how quickly and easily locals can fall asleep. Here in China, it's not so much the ability to fall asleep on trains, planes and the like as simply the fact that they sleep anywhere and everywhere. Thus, in wandering around Tunxi in particular, I snapped off a few shots of people sleeping in unusual places which I thought were interesting.
