Day 1:
After a long 11 hour flight we arrived in Hong Kong around 5pm local time. We got the train from the airport to Wan Chai (which is on HK island), all under lovely air-conditioning but managed to hit rush hour. The AC was amazing but definitely made it worse when stepping outside into 90% humidity at around 30 degrees. ... the members offered to give us a tour. For $75 HK/ day we can join the club and access all of the facilities. That's about $12 Cdn. There is a beautiful outdoor pool, 10 pin bowling, 3 golf simulators, tennis, and access to all lounges and restaurants. We spent a great day in Hong Kong with my cousin Kathy Bates' son' s best friend, Tom Schmidt. Tom is an architect & author. His wife Kate was born & raised in Hong Kong & is an accountant at KPMG.
