    ... final performance. The students were great, haha, for a high school performance. The entire class had to participate, so there were obviously those who really couldn't sing but they gave it their all! They sang songs in both Chinese and English.     ... a Remembrance Day ceremony. The students appeared interested and few made connections between WWI and WWII and wars following that. They even made connections between poppies and opium. Although they do not celebrate Remembrance Day in China they have their own celebration on the 11th of November, they celebrate Singles Day.     Last weekend a couple of friends and I decided to go to the arts and cultural centre in Zhengzhou to check out their theatre show. It was a variety of things from Broadway dancing, Chinese dancing, singing, and the finale which was tight rope walking. The show was good, but it was nothing like what I am use to.
