... of the famous gardens of Suzhou. A number of interesting buildings surrounding a large pond. The names given to the buildings in various places are interesting - the Beauty Within Reach Tower, The Five Peaks Library (named after the rock formation displayed near it), The Moon Comes With The Breeze Pavilion and so on. ... Su Laoshi for teaching me bus stop! Mike relieved to find me safely with the bus but heartbroken that the ice cold Diet Coke he had managed to procure for me from the cafe I couldn't find had succumbed to the 36 degree heat. ... to convey our concern to the front desk brought us a great deal of enjoyment.

We enjoyed our last dinner at the hotel in Kunshan (no dumplings though :( )

Our Chinese friends took us to a rock music club to celebrate our last night.

It was really empty when we got there at 7:30, but after about half an hour it was packed.

The band went on at 9:30 and the singer joked about never performing for this many foreigners.
