... Dora saying that Mr. Li has bought me a ticket to Shanghai for this afternoon at 15:03. This means I will get into Shanghai at around 22:30 or later. But the upside to all this is that I will be able to see my Dad tonight until Friday and will get to chill out in a hotel for a few days before I go back to the flat in Shanghai! I'm looking forward to a little bit of a holiday!

I'll let you know if my problems get solved. I'll know by tomorrow what is to come!

... 5 students who had been asked by Alice to take me to Erqi (pron. Erchi) Square where I would meet Julian, who is the other volunteer in Zhengzhou. It took well over an hour to get to the square and in true Marushka fashion I was late! This wasn’t really my fault, because I didn’t actually realize how far away it was. ... lunch with Alice with has become something of a ritual and is one that I welcome as it is nice to not eat lunch alone. Wednesday was long and I was extremely tired by the end of the day and welcomed my bed when it was time to crash.

Thursday was number 11 in the lesson repeat, don’t get me wrong but the fact that all the classes are learning the same this and having to teach all 12 classes the same thing is really beginning to kill the fun of it. ...
