... so even mountain hiking can be done with light shoes in China.

Arriving at the hotel we had some Chinese lunch and had a look at our hotel room. There are only a few hotels on the mountains and they have western prices… We found some thick warm red jackets in our hotel room as well as some torchlight. Our bus ride from Hangzhou to Shaoxing was a little over an hour long so we were able to nap for a little bit. Our first stop in Shaoxing was at the residence of Lu Xun. It is a nice house, typical of wealthy Chinese homes. You are able to see where he slept, where he wrote and the 100 plants garden that is mentioned in some of his stories. We ...

As we drove around the city, all we could see was huge boxes everywhere and trucks moving goods around. We were pretty sure this is where a lot of good are made and we could make out factories in the buildings. It was eye opening especially after all the documentaries we have seen.

We then went to another city called Hengdian, which is China's equivalent to Hollywood and Universal Studios. ...
