... went by in a flash. We drove down to Finikounda, a seaside village which has expanded to meet the needs of the tourists and which has two lovely beaches and a very small harbour. We also visited Koroni, a picturesque town overlooked by a castle and with a working harbour. ... being so clever booking a place in the mountains- we were sure it would be cooler, but as we drove up the winding track to the house in the evenings the temp in car would go up and up, only 3 or 4 degrees but you felt the difference. Owners told us when they bought the place estate agent told them it was 10 degrees cooler up there in the summer.

... go beyond my comfort level and see the schools of fish and I would have been content not doing but I didn't want to have regrets so I went out and admittedly it was very pretty. Once I saw the schools of fish I headed back.

After packing up, we drove by the big beach which was completely packed with no possible way of setting up any where near the water - crazy. I wanted to get out and do a little souvenir ...
