      ... and caught the train to Chur.

    • It started snowing on the way there, the first snow I had seen in Europe!
    • I walked to my hostel and checked into a 16 bed dorm. There was only 3 people there as it was the off season which I was pretty happy about.
    • A grabbed a kebab for dinner. I had spotted the place while walking to the hostel.
    • Afterwards I sat in the hostel bar and had a couple of beers ...

      ... kidnapped us for a few days. With cheap camping
      right on the banks adjacent to bocce playing locals and our favourite bargain supermarket Lidl, we decided a couple of days by the lake were well deserved. Ample cheese, wine and olives were consumed as we said goodbye to France, French picnics and all the French loveliness for at least a few months. Sigh.
