      ... As a reward to our dip we were sailed to Thirassia to have a delicious lunch and cold beer on the water. This stop only prepared us for the breathtaking village of Oia, a must see on anyones Greek Tour. I have to say that the donkey ride up the cliffs might have topped the sunsets described in every tour book and most likely mentioned by all whom have witnessed its spectacle.       ... the sea on the other side of the island, so we crossed over some large hills and drove along the waters edge and reached this town. We had a bit of time to explore here as well, so i walked along the beach, explored the town, got a gelato and wandered around some more. We then went to see this giant statue of dionosysis, still lying where it was carved in a quarry.       ... and found a car hire place near the main square. Here i decided to hire a buggy. Very simple to use and easy to hire. I then left the town after getting some petrol. Driving along the main road heading towards the beach, my hat blew off and disappeared – there was too much traffic so i could not stop. Goodbye hat.       ... of people waiting for the ferry. The ferry was only 5 minutes late.

      I got on, left my bags in storage and found a seat. Once on i sat, used the internet, updated and ate lunch – left over cold pizza. I also did some reading.       ... I have had the most incredible time venturing to 8 countries in 4 weeks lucky to have had so many great times along our travels both funny and odd. Met some awesome people and saw some cool things- I hope that this will not be the end of our adventurous times together as Al made a tremendous travel buddy, much love.
