... After cleaning out my whole backpack from the little showergel accident, I strolled the cobbled streets of San Telmo. And, yes, they actually do dance tango on the streets here! Beautiful music with passionate dancing, a sangria and some carne asada. Needless to say, I am in tango heaven.
Hasta pronto amigos
PS I apologize for any miss spellings as I don´t have spell check here. And my English not so good!!

... This is not necessarily either a good thing or a bad thing; rather, it’s just a thing.
I know I’ve mentioned this before, but the meals have been absolutely wonderful. Lunch and dinner are always large, heavy, delicious, stick-to-your-rib-make-you-un-button-yo ur-pants kind of meals. Lots of bread, pasta, potatoes, and meat are always served. Since there is so long between each meal, you come to ...
... banner caught fire - there was rupturous applause from the Boca fans and sher we all had to join in - we were warned to sing along with the supporters and really be up for the match so as not to draw any trouble on us. The Hooligans had what seemed like a 10 piece band with them - they were playing music with drums and trumpets - they were amazing. All through the match they never let up with their support. In the second half in our stand and accross the pitch ...
Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District, Argentina sharor... This week in class we have been learning about Costa Rica, its history, culture and identity. Class has been fine, nothing worth boring you all with.
Tomorrow I am going to Manuel Antonio with some friends, which is apparently a beautiful beach and national park where I think I will finally go zip lining! I’m really excited and we’re going in a group with a bunch of other international students which should be really ...
... or so drinking coffee and watching street performers. The walk took us further south and the building were gradually looking a bit more run down. There were more locals on the streets going about their lives as we were entering 'La Boca'. La Boca is a suburb full of character. Highlighted by highlighted buildings of colour and colonial architecture. We eventually came across the famous stadium of Boca Juniors called.....err....Boca stadium? I'm not sure but it is quite an impressive ...
Buenos Aires, Argentina demange... was built. Next we headed to La Boca for a walk along the Caminito, a pedestrian walkway named after a tango song about a rural village. La Boca reminds you of Little Italy with its small shops and narrow alleyways. Soon we are back on the bus headed for Recoleta in Barrio Norte. Along the way we follow the waterfront of Rio de la Plata. At this point the river is almost 200 miles across before you reach the shore ...
Buenos Aires, Argentina khillski... P Anyway, Bs. As.. The buildings here are huge, much like New York, so everywhere you go it feels like you have no clue where you are on account of not being able to see the next block. Everythign here is measured in quadros (blocks) here instead of km. As in: I live 40 blocks from here. But as blocks tend to be 100 numbers it´s reasonably easy to figure out (40 quadros is faaaar). There are also so many completely different architectural styles everywhere mixed about. It makes it ...
Buenos Aires, Argentina aishwarya... girls. Up at 7:15 - blah! Unfortunately, I ended up scaring the Calgary Cuties - I didn't see them this morning, but wanted to leave my email address. I knew they were in a private room, but wasn't sure which one, and was in such a rush to catch my bus that I wasn't thinking properly. I didn't want to just slide my email under the door without being sure if it was their room, so stupid me, I quietly opened their ...
Buenos Aires, Argentina pwong... Top Three restaurants in BA. The place has a bit of a rustic character to its design, so I hoped that the food would be more contemporary! Things started off with some wonderfully crisp crostini, served with a wicked chicken liver pate, even better than what we had at Cafe Turri, in Valpo (http://www.travelpod.com/travel-photo/ pwong/7/1230950700/img_3704.jpg/tpod.ht ml). I wondered how they managed to make the pate so light-bodied ...
