    ... I decided to find Mary and get the heck out of dodge. We lasted less than 45 minutes and promptly went back to the ship.

    I tried to take a nap only to have housekeeping come in and I gave up completely when the captain came over the loud speakers through out the entire ship describing our next destination, which for me wasn't going to be sleep.

    ... is a narrow gauge railway similar to that in Snowdonia England and offers a two level trip for tourists. The double-decker seating upstairs is open for viewing and photography and the downstairs is more comfortable with rattan furniture café style and complimentary drinks. There were entertainers on board singing traditional songs in harmony.

    ... dived on the anchor to check it is set in properly. As soon as we were happy we went ashore and hired some bikes and set off on a tour of the whole island, after the capital Charlestown it sets off uphill and we followed the signs for Botanical gardens, to be suddenly faced with a 300m+ section of hill at 1/1 it was so steep you had to push the bikes up in a zigzag pattern. We wandered around the gardens, full of loads of beautiful palm and tropical trees with a good fruit tree ...

    ... are either at jouvert morning, or waiting for the next one. The music here certainly supports that statement. On jouvert morning, people in troops all dress in the same costumes and go dancing in the streets. Each troop has a band/dj and a sponsor who get together to organize it all. I had to stop by the digicell (sponsor) tent to pick up my package that contained all of the items for my "costume" for jouvert.

    ... got one of the specials which was some homemade spinach pasta, and was perfect. There is a reason I have a rule to always eat homemade pasta if a restaurant has it, and Ciao just reinforces the rule.
    When we were done with dinner, we went to the Marriott Royal Casino to play Bingo. The bingo was a bit larger than Mapau, but it was basically the same thing. We didn't win, but somebody else did win the bingo jackpot.
