    ... to get on the freeway, but after making tens of lefts and rights, I've finally made it on to the freeway in an hour.

    I wanted to take the freeway all the way to Lleida, but I think I've must have messed up somewhere in reading the sign and ending up on the toll road. End up paying 16 euro for the 1:30 hour ride to Lleida.

    After checking in at the 2-star hotel, pretty much a hostel, started my tour around the city.

    ... northern route, instead of the major southern route, to head towards Pamplona. We were now in the Pyrenees region. We arrived in Jaca around 6:30 pm for a break spent about half an hour walking around the central part of the town. We drove about 480 km in total and got into Puente de Reina at 8:45 pm.     ... after the 6pm mass in the "new" cathedral ( built 1761-1781!), a procession is held and the people mess up all the lovely displays made along the pathway before Sunday morning. The pathway murals were made from coloured wood shavings, flowers and flour for the white sections. It is for Pentecost Sunday.
