Empuries was the furthest outpost of the Greek Empire and although it is not thought Hannnibal ever visited, legions of Romans used this spot as a disembarkation point for invasion. Greek and Roman ruins are evident. Whilst we were visiting, the exhibition in the local museum focussed on the sex lives of the Romans. Those racy Romans!

I picked one and it turns out my mum's sister was running the place. Well obviously not, but her manner, and the way she dealt with the guests, and her weird little things she kept round the place reminded me of the oldie.

Today we got up early and headed to Spain.

We went to Girona. When we arrived we parked the car and Art was busting to go to the toilet and there were none around, so Dad and Mum had to have coffee in a cafe.
