    First 2days in Singapore

    ... trains and made it to ICA without any problems. ICA is a big bad mix between the DMV and passport office. I had a 10:15 appointment and after waiting in long lines and making a couple friends I didn't leave the office until 12:15 and having to come back 2 hours later to pick up my student pass. When we finally got back to the hotel I changed went to the gym and pool and then just hanging out in the lounge loving the view!!

They have 2 pods of different flowers etc but they are soooo expensive and it's just flowers in a dome basically.     ... We said goodbye to Cip, as he was taking a taxi into Singapore for the night, staying there the next day and then flying out the next evening; we had to wait until we could check into our Jetstar flight that left at 10.45am the next day. Edd was sad to see him go, he’d had a great time with some male company, having been surrounded by either just me other other female travellers for most of our trip.

    ... world. Bart arrived late and we met him in the morning at the breakfast buffet - provided to us complementary by the friendly staff on check in! We enjoyed the eclectic mix of SE Asian and more western food, including 'beef bacon' which I had never had before (not recommended!) substituted for the traditional pork in this predominantly Muslim country.

    Unfortunately, Bart had a change in plans and had to return to work early, so he was unable to join us for the trip down to Johor. ...
