... all the food stalls. After a lie down with the air con blasting we were ready to shower and go out for dinner. We missed lunch today as its so hot I don't even feel like eating - amazing I know! Tonight we tried a Spanish tapas restaurant, the food was alright but not as good as last nights Japanese. Last night in Singapore and I can't say I'll be sort to say goodbye to the humidity here. Counting down now NZ, see you ...

    We intended to 'take ...

There are no windows in our hotel room. This doesn't seem like such a bad thing until you wake up in the morning and, because you've been moving around from one hotel to another quite a bit, you're certain it must still be night time, because it is pitch black. Turns out, it was actually 10 o clock. I was surprised to wake up so late, because, and if you've been reading you'll know, I haven't been sleeping a lot. Becky had been awake until the early hours of the morning ...

... to relieve our aching muscles, not just from the kayaking but from life in general. We parked in the underground garage and headed to the elevator, where we encountered a clown having a disagreement with the parking ticket machine. A clown complete with a big red foam nose, suspenders, and over-sized shoes. Maybe he was planning to have a massage as well? Although I think the steam involved with the spa treatment would have melted his clown make-up right off his face. My ...
