We spent the evening quietly while outside it did get a bit noisy but not to keep us from our sleep.

... introduced by the Eastern trade, the incorporation of the factory in 1653 and its receiving the Royal imprimatur in 1919. (There are other factories making Delft, but Royal Delft is the single one in continuous operation.) We then pass through a small museum of historical Delft pieces, special commissions, a Delft dress and a replication of Vermeer's dining room complete with Delft ware appropriate to the period. The most memorable work is a monumental rendering ...

... modern seaside resort located on the North Sea with a very long and wide sandy beach, a huge boardwalk, a pier, and a lighthouse. It reminded us of our trip to Brighton, England a few years ago. The beach is very popular especially on weekends and contains many restaurants, bars and amusements. Our B&B is one block from the beach, next door to a Dinner Theatre and a Casino. The wind was very gusty yesterday and this morning but it was very ...
