... Frans Hals "Laughing Boy" (1625). All these masterpieces housed under one roof is simply mind boggling. Free time here added to our enjoyment and appreciation of these Dutch Golden age masters. Exploring the city with its old buildings and cobblestones is most satisfying and beer, Prosecco and dinner in a typical pub in the square was delightful only topped off when a young lady approached us with a bridesmaid flower hairdo and explained that she had ...

The flat was big and empty with no real places for the keys to go missing in but after searching for two hours we found nothing and had to message Mig the guy who's flat it was. He couldn't get a spare set to us until around 6pm so we spent our one full day sat around the flat, prisoners of my own ...

... somewhat upbeat and sanitized version of the life of all the heads of the House of Orange ("King William I was very good at managing the economy. Pay no attention to the fact that he ****** off the Belgians so much they had a revolution against him...")

Other than that, we just walked around and soaked up the ambiance. We had a dinner of which I have somewhat divided opinions. The food was actually ...
