... at the campground entrance along with a great restaurant with an outdoor terrace (got to love outdoor terraces). Needless to say, the first day consisted of simply hanging out at the beach with a lovely view of the nearby island which has a picturesque church that a lot of couples get married on. In fact, it is a tradition for new grooms to carry their brides up the 99 stairs in order to have ...

You can identify the younger ones since they will be less white... although approximately 1 in 100 stay dark all their life. Once we arrived in Piran, we got a bird's eye view of this beautiful slice of Slovenian coast, flanked by Italy to the north and Croatia to the south - 3 countries in 1 gorgeous ...

... had time for a few towns and settled on the awesomely named Ribnica and Novo Mesto. Ribnica was a quaint little place that had some old churches, some medieval buildings and a lot of people that could only speak one word. There was the drunken wino rolling around the ground who could only say “waaaaaaaa” as you passed and then there was the guy, who, upon being egged on by his mates from the pub yelled, “herrwaaaarrr,” at the ...
