... the hatchback Volkswagen golf to a sedan . However the car didn't have a GPS as the agency was short of it. Protesting that we cannot travel without one in a foreign land we went to their office to see what can be done. At the car rental office the guy told us that although I had booked the GPS weeks in advance, it's availability depends on the day of hiring the car. All they could offer was an apology which was not gonna get us to our destinations. Persisting ...
Our second wild camp went without any problems. It is still raining this morning! We set off on our long drive to Serbia. It's motorway most of the way, straight, flat and wet. This one was home made flat buns 8", with skinless sausage sliced up ...
How spoilt we are in Australia. To come here and drive through just a tiny part of Bosnia to Derventa and see the devastation after all these years and then to arrive at Rad 's parents, its very humbling. We have so much and they make do with so little. They have a lovely home, very small, two small bedrooms off a living area. The have a stove inside but mum does most of the cooking in summer outside in the shed, where she has another stove. They have little ...
