What I hadn't realized was that it was the other side of a gully and to get there I had to walk through back alleys surrounding people's houses and so there was a plethora of chickens, pigs and dogs to navigate. ... town centre and visited the stunning Djakovo cathedral which had fantastic hand painted frescos inside, it lasted the wars which is surprising... Not without a few scars bit the interior is still amazing. One section has painted drapes and they look stunningly real.

The square in Novi Sad was spacious and new looking dominated by City Hall and the Catholic Cathedral. With the sun shining the five of us, our friend Barbara from Texas included in the group, spent an hour of so wandering around and trying to find our own way back to the ship. We had breakfast at the hotel and then took the hotels shuttle service to Stuttgart airport. We were early, so killed some time shopping.
On arriving at Zagreb airport we picked up the hire car and got on the road straight away.
