... down. Kyle Lawson our Repiano Cornet was so ill that he was admitted to hospital for observation after contracting a virus. He missed the concert and his seat was filled very capably by Raynor Martin. 3rd 3rd Cornet to Rep is a serious promotion and a big gig to sightread! One of the most poignant moments in our programme is a cornet trio in West Side Story (Somewhere) between the Repiano, Solo Cornet and 2nd Cornet. Every night we get to hear this played by ...

... site, we were pleased to see Skylar's friend Bing Bing, his aunt and 3 cousins, who joined us on our tour.

I would have to say the most impressive part of the tour was the tour of the cemetery. It was amazing to see. There are over 100,000 graves in this cemetery. Unlike our cemeteries that are well kept, the Chinese allow the natural landscape to take over. In fact, most Chinese choose to be cremated. You can also see mounds ...

Our last day in Shanghaj :( :( and we wanted to cram in a bit more sightseeing before we bullet up to 'jing We headed off to the Jingan temple (we were going to walk there but then Wayne told us we were crazy and it was too far so we got the metro lol). Got there, got distracted by Old Navy, saw it was pretty pricey and the air was thick with incense and have up on that idea. Got a good photo of 4 lions on a stick though. Then we made the journey to ...
