Steven, Ed, Billy and I booked a dive to go to Mnemba Island. Ed and Billy are two beauties on our tour from the UK. The boat we take is hilarious and it's got a 40 hp on the back so it takes us 1.5 hours to get to the island you can see from where we started. Rama is our guide and first dive goes pretty good. We see a tonne of ...

I can't remember the exact point of my life when I decided to quit my normal life for adventures. And I never knew how much I will get to know. Now I believe in myself that I am gaining an experience that I would never get sitting in claustrophobic office with bunch of papers. Though I am sitting now with my phone writing this blog, so still it's some kind of hard and boring job! Haha! And here it comes to school. When I decided I am going to volunteer I chose school, ...

All day pool and kind people and I thought than "wow, this Saturday rocks!" But what we had this Sat was even better. Finally no beach, haha! Actually as now is November rain season starts. Anyway woke up really early today. Didn't sleep very well as was waiting for Darata to come back home from party and ...

      ... li>Pole pole = Slowly (step by step)Stone Town

      • Zanzibar´s Stone Town is the largest settlement of its kind in the world, and has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
      • There are over 1,000 coral “stone” buildings having architectural significance, and more than 200 carved doors.
      • Stone Town is very much alive with busy, narrow streets, linking homes, shops, workshops, ad schools. In the afternoon, ...

      Still Zanzibar and dala dala's

Back to dala dala experience.. Long time haven't take a dala dala for a ride but when we took it it was with some "action". First of all when we went to full moon party we went by that and as I met Corbin I didn want to leave him alone to sit in dala dalas back so I let Darata sit in front ( like in normal car) and with Corbin we sat in "trunk part". I would say this "trunk part" is combined for max 12 people, usually we squeeze around 17, but on that day it was 25! Don't ask ...
