... and the platform was still not available. A bit strange as usually the train sits there for about 15mins beforehand. At 12.50 the platform showed and we had 5mins to walk to the other side of the station and also find the train. The platform was hidden at the end and as we were running upto it, it left. Dutch food consists for the most part of what these locals described to me as “gruel,” Dutch cuisine is largely an amalgamation of ethnic foods from the distant lands the Dutch formerly colonized, raped, and exploited back in the golden age of Imperialism. The colonies had the last laugh though, as Indonesian restaurants are taking over Holland like the Americans took over Cinco de Mayo.

Holland was terrific, and I already can’t wait to go back. ...
