Well we've made it to Amsterdam and now we're on our own!! After settling in to our hotel, and recovering from the shock of the horse on the wall, we wandered down to the Leidseplein where Mark found a place with all you can eat ribs! So that was dinner... ... the doors were closed and locked. There were four of us trying to get on to this train – but the doors wouldn’t open – even a kind woman couldn’t open them from the inside. (This is very unusual, because the doors generally do not close until an instant before the train pulls out.) This seemed to be our day to miss trains by seconds!!

... and we were lucky enough to enjoy unlimited beverages before hopping on a floating restaurant for dinner, at the beautiful Sea Palace. Next up was our group entry into one of Amsterdam's most busiest night clubs this was an interesting experience but a nice way to spend time with our new found friends.
