... in Binnenhof. The building is used for the sate opening of the Dutch Parliament. I loved the guilded fountain ou in the courtyard. There was so much detail!
Then we moved on to Mauritshuis. The museum houses the royal cabinet of paintings. The museum contains several wonderful paintings by Reubens, Hals, Rembrandt, and Vermeer. The mos famous painting in the museum is The Girl With the Pearl Earring. This is a painting I have been hoping to see in person for a long time. ...

... Combination of good weather and many art lovers. We chatted with him a bit more and then miraculously, the line began to move. We gave hint all the credit for speeding up our progress, calling him "the man!". He said to tell that to his wife! The museum was packed but where else can you see 200 Van Gogh paintings?
We rendezvoused with all of our traveling party and began the trek to our dinner location in the Jordaan District. David scouted this out ...

... As it was only 10am the street was full of trucks and vans making deliveries and it was rather impossible to see anything or even walk along the street as vans and bicycles were simply just pushing their way through every gap possible.

Today we Woke up at 9am got ready went for breakfast at bagels and beans. It really is our favourite place for breakfast. It's very reasonably priced too! It was pouring rain again but that didn't stop us. We hopped on a train to The Hague! It houses a huge Rembrandt wing, a number of his students at the Hague School, Van Gogh and other famous Dutch artists.
