      ... on his crutches as he felt one of the screws inside his knee had worked it's way loose. He stayed in the car for the ferry trip. We arrived at Sami in Kefallonia and headed straight to the hospital. We were all a bit worried that the doc would have to open his leg back up! We were really thrilled to find Andy smiling and much happier after the doctor had seen him. The screw had worked it's way out so they took it out!! Apparently with minimal fuss through a small incision. ...

      ... it was dirty. There was lots of areas where garbage was just piled really high, and lots of graffiti, and nothing too unique. When we got to Olympia, which is where the Olympics started, we got lucky and it was free admission day.       ... of the various events were awarded a wreath of olive leaves. It was a great honor the win one of these events and the winners lived in glory and honor the rest of their lives.. We saw the stadium where the running events took place. It held 45,000 people. There were no seats. Spectators sat or stood on the grass surrounding the field. It was really a beautiful impressive place.

      ... The ship traveled at 17 knots so there is a little more motion but for most part we are unaware that we are moving or on the ocean. We should get to Malta before 1pm tomorrow. The four of us scrubbed up for a late casual dinner that ended about 10.15pm. The Boyd's went to bed and we stayed up - not that it necessarily translates into Tina and Andrew getting more sleep than us :).       ... evening meal - smorgasbord - and a few more beers. From there to a bar and while Tina and Ang were having a quick look elsewhere - probably shops - Andrew and Craig at the instigation of the barman had 3 successive tequila shots each in martini glasses, that's a lot of tequila. Soon after they were off .... to a dance bar. It was pretty empty but with good music when we arrived. We don't know if it was the boys disinhibited dancing or Andrew's furniture ...
