... had a lovely meal tonight (some of the best food we have had in Croatia) and then went for a walk around the town. Tonight is our last night in croatia a tomorrow we head off to Italy.

This country is gorgeous and we have loved every minute of it. For anyone who has a travel bucket list - put it up towards the top!

Thanks again for the comments .

Take care,
love from the castaways xoxoxo

A fab sail up the 17 miles with the wind just dieing as we pulled into Punat to have a look around before going of to Krk main town for the evening. A great safe bay with monastry and marina , worth noting for return trip! On arrival in Krk we drop anchor outside to test if safe but end up picking it up and heading onto town quay as think we may go out and have few beers whilst inspecting the old town. Another lovely old town and good ...

One last road on the map to try, or else we will have to camp at the motorway services. We see a sign for a picnic site, that might do, we drive ...

... they were excited.

Next stop was Rovinj. This area of Croatia has a heavy Italian influence, their second language here is Italian and most signs are in both Italian and Croatian. Rovinji reminded me a little bit of a combination of Chinque Terra and Venice. I walked up the church bell tower with Helen and Gordon and thought I was going to die!!! The steps were wooden, only about 15cm wide and you could see through between the steps to the level below. I don't usually have ...
