... bread and served a great meal with big portions. We all went away full. Well not quite full because by the time we got back to CVS opposite our hotel, the girls wanted an ice cream. So we got the ice cream, went back to the hotel and ate them, before Jesse & Hannah retired to their bunk beds for the night.
Mum took care of some ironing & Dad watched Shark Week, before calling it a night. Tomorrow Disneyland California Adventure. ...

... off of the Junior Ranger badges they had been earning the entire trip. During this "adventure" it was clear we needed an intervention for Carolina...not getting a full night's rest, and not eating much for breakfast was taking it's toll on her (and the rest of us!!) ... started teaching [college]. And I just happened to remember he lived in LA and I still had his phone number since he doesn't ever check Facebook, so I texted him to see if he was around, which he was, and we met him in Brea. I hadn't seen him since senior year of high school.

... this to was enjoyable. Our next ride was on Mater. We got pulled around by little tractors while you spin and whirl to Mater's music. This ride was in car land which was a section devoted to the Cars Movie. We arrived to 23 degrees and sunshine. The beach house in Malibu sits on stilts and the sea comes in beneath us. The view is phenominal. After the kids excitedly unpacked and we had filled the cupboards with American goodies from the local grocery store, we all fell asleep to the sound of the pacific ocean.
