... the museum. Zayne kept pointing and and saying something in Chinese over and over, so we finally asked our guide Tina what it was that he was saying, and turns out it was "get a picture of that!". So we had to photo whatever he pointed at, then show him the picture on our phone, and he would nod and then be satisfied. We hung out there for about 2 hours, then bused it back to the Hilton.

Lunch was room service, with most of us going American style ...

This is Zackery. Today we went to the Zijingshan park and got dropped off at the completely other side of where we were supposed to. Then when we found the other families we went on the rides in the second part of the park. We rode bumper cars, a shooting kind of ride, little cars, and i played an older person shooting game. Julie gave him another bath today, which he really likes, and then I put him to bed while ...

... passport should be ready in a couple days. It wasn't bad time-wise, maybe 2.5 hours in the morn, and again in afternoon. Us and another family (the PA. crew - Mom/Dad and their two adopted 2-year old boys) made a Wal-Mart run before dinner. We basically needed shoes for Zayne, as what we had were all too big, and they just needed a few items. I couldn't talk anyone into buying one of the hanging chickens for dinner, so ...

... pasty soup with chicken), more pork steamed buns, some of Zackery's ravioli and some other snacks. He played til bedtime, around 9:00. Zackery and I hit the pool and hot tub for awhile. I'll let Z tell you that story, which he finds hilarious (mostly at my expense), tomorrow. All in all, I don't think we could have imagined the day having gone any better. Til then, good night from China. -- Mick
