    ... of a learning curve, but I think throwing ourselves into an unfamiliar situation was so helpful in setting us up for the next position.

    Our days consisted of very intense 8-4 work with the kids. Vocab lessons, followed by creative classes followed by some kind of sport or activity. The kids particularly enjoyed learning how to play baseball.

    ... at a small noodle place before another hour van ride. This rid was at least slightly more comfortable since I had a little bit of leg room sitting in the front seat. So after a very long and exhausting day we finally arrive at our camp location. But since it was dark I wasn't able to take any pictures of the camp so hopefully I can get some tomorrow!     ... and really seemed to like them. Maddie, who is one of the cutest babies I've ever seen, absolutely loved her owl! She didn't stop smiling after I gave it to her! It makes me so happy to know that I will be able to give this feeling to so many kids this summer! We took an hour drive into the city of Zhengzhou in a very crowded, very cramped van ride.     ... so I bent down to pet him and he came right over to me. He then refused to leave my side,following me out of one building then across the campus and all the way to the second building. The poor thing was homeless, so I had my cereal in my bag and gave him a handful so that at least I knew he had had something to eat.
