... Dora saying that Mr. Li has bought me a ticket to Shanghai for this afternoon at 15:03. This means I will get into Shanghai at around 22:30 or later. But the upside to all this is that I will be able to see my Dad tonight until Friday and will get to chill out in a hotel for a few days before I go back to the flat in Shanghai! I'm looking forward to a little bit of a holiday!

I'll let you know if my problems get solved. I'll know by tomorrow what is to come!

... so her daughter explained a Chinese saying that translated loosely into English is something like this - 'Eat, Eat Rest, and Eat Some More.' Basically you eat, you rest and then eat more.

Afterwards they walked me back to school and we said goodbye. It was actually really nice day. Even though her family spoke very little English and I spoke zero Chinese it was a pleasant day and I learnt a lot about the people here. And it was nice to be mothered for one day.

... end of Wednesday I was trying really hard not to yawn and to look like I was actually having fun teaching the class. Great right? I don’t like that as it doesn’t seem right to do that to the children. But what can you do? But if I am really honest the class I have on Thursday is one of my favourites, they are actually quite funny and they are really active and just try, which is all I really asked for! Anyways on to happier topics, today I was introduced to Henan noodles, which is a specialty of this province and apparently famous throughout China. It is a type of broth in which the meat is boiled in, the broth is quite good and I really enjoyed it but the boiled meat not so much it has a weird taste that I am not used to.
