    ... all hotels ask for deposits, I hadn't got enough money to pay for two consecutive nights in any one place. It's cool to move hotels but constantly, it's a bit of a headache.

    That said, aside from money I had no problems in HK - I loved catching up with my friends in the city and being able to attend my friend Karen's birthday dinner and drinks was a definite highlight. Seeing Julianna whom I've not caught up with in two years (how has it been that long?) ...

    As our time in China is coming to an end, Scott and I had to go check out Hong Kong. My birthday was a perfect excuse for it too!

    We took two days off work, because we both had some vacation days left, and flew into Hong Kong's Chinese northern neighbor of Shenzhen on Thursday.
