After dinner, we headed out to a nearby villagers house to hear his story and his family’s and just see if there was any way to help them and share some encouragement and hope with them. We’re supposed to be doing this for the next few days as we’re here in this village. This man’s story truly was just an eye-opening story to hear, and hit me really deeply, along with ...

... a fabulous tableau that she could feast her lens on.

Sad to leave Lijiang but excited at the prospect of seeing Tiger Leaping Gorge, the drive takes us through beautiful countryside. Every inch is neatly cultivated with rows of vegetables or lush forest. The road was twisted but not as uneven as Donegal. The mountain backdrop- majestic; the alps are hills by comparison.
