... with a little bit of help, created some very nice pieces of Japanese pottery. Ethan was proclaimed the pottery king! After we did the pottery we were given special macha tea and Sakura sweet, wrapped in a leaf from a cherry blossom tree. They then gave us some of their pottery. We climbed up to the Matsue Castle a 16th century castle which was used as the model for Shogun. We then road boats around the moat where we had to lay down in a few places to avoid getting hit in the noggin by low bridges.
