... and stayed on a Mongolian ranch, and slept in a traditional yurt. The next day we went out to a lamastary, kinda like a monastery but for lamas, Tibetan Buddhist monks. And the third day went out to the desert and rode camels. It was a fun trip, but we did see a lot coal power plants, and a couple strip mines. We did get some great food though.

Week of Craziness

... for the day to arrive. On the plus side, last week Hohhot finally started to warm up a lot, going from minus temperatures to the 20s. And even better news is that we have the next weekend off due to the May holiday and the students have to go to their public schools during that weekend, which means they cannot make it to class.
