I went on a trip to the Gobi desert. It rained on both the way there and back, but luckily (and as expected!) the desert remained dry. I was given some rather cool "Sand Shoes" (also known as "giant socks") to put on. I wish ...

... like slightly sour milk mixed with a strong spirit (i.e. not great). They also had weird lumpy yoghurt, but the meat they served was good. On my second day I saw some kids playing badminton in the park, then one girl let out a small gasp and I saw that she had hit a bat with her racquet. It was quite a big one (probably 1ft wing span if spread out) and it was very near death; slightly twitching on the floor. My brain was taking its time ...
