    Zamiin-uud. Last stop in Mongolia. Nobody can board or get off. Customs moving from compartment to compartment on the train. They have taken our passports. Now patiently waiting. Our fellow passengers are a chinese woman, born in mongolia, very quiet. And a chinese small businessman, the opposite. When he talks, he shouts as if fighting. His cellphone is at maximum volume. And when he talks into the phone, for all intents and purposes, he renders it obsolete. ...

    We were met at the train station this morning in Hohhot by our honcho Jasmine. Arriving into Hohhot was such a surprise. I was expecting a small town with nothing much in it, but Hohhot turned out to be a relatively large city with heaps of shops and a Starbucks - which made all of us very happy!! We started at the Inner Mongolia Museum where we started in the dinosaurs section and then moved straight to the benches outside waiting for everyone else where we felt like ...

    ... when we refused to be paid, she took a bag and starting loading it up with items from her store. She wouldn't even let us leave the store without it!     Yesterday we went to the grasslands and visited a Mongolian herdsman family. We ate some food (and some of it was literally as hard as a rock) and drank milk tea.
