... That should have raised alarm bells, but I was just interested in their little world of furniture part sales, I guess. Fascinating.

It didn't even phase me when Helen "joked" that I should stand up and entertain them with ex-boyfriend stories. Upon further reflection, I was clearly only there to entertain them for a while, not to actually have some sort of real human experience with.

... which we enjoyed later, along with some PARMESAN CHEESE from ITALY. Wow.

I dropped my stuff off at Carlo's house because I couldn't stay at Helen's. This was the first fishy part about her. ... but still, nice touch. Even the man I emailed my reservation to introduced himself to me. Really nice way to spend an afternoon.

Well, that was the end of Macau, and also the end of my itinerary. I still had another week before I went home and really could not conceive of spending it all in Macau. So, I bought four bottles of wine with the rest of my money and left. I was hoping to offload them on my next hosts.

I found the bus station without too much ...

Yangchun is a beautiful city. Very scenic and lush. As I mentioned, it doesn't have the traffic issues of the previous cities we visited. By China's standards, it's one million or so residents, with the majority living on the outskirts working in the farms, would make it considered small. We like it very much.

There is a regional look to many of the people here. As we walk through the town, I see my daughter's features looking back at me, the round ...
