    Dear family and friends,

    I may have a window to write in this blog. I am in the hallway at Beijing Royal High School in Beijing. This is the best place for WIFI access and there are kids lining the wall trying to chat with friends and family. I may get kicked off but I will try to at least write.

    All of the kids had a great experience and many kids came back with food and gifts. We met back at the hotel and waited an hour and a half for our bus to return to the hotel. Our luggage was below the bus so we had to wait in the lobby. Most Chinese would prefer to attend almost any U.S. university over a Chinese University (except if you are going to study Chinese or some other specialized major).     ... sweet, Sichuan- hot chili peppers and garlic, Zhejiang-Fresh, not greasy, fish and dimsum, and Hunan-Hot and spicy.
    Of course, all most all of these cuisines can be found in most provinces and have influenced each other over time. So the next time you eat Chinese, unless you are eating at a buffet, pay attention to what you are eating. :)
    P.S. The Chinese would not like PF Chang or Peiwei; the sweetness would make them sick.
