    ... Hong Kong food was nothing like that.) When my friends had to work, I occupied myself by hotfooting it around HK by myself which I quite enjoyed - wandering in and out of shopping malls and down interesting side streets (by day I hasten to add) taking the ferry across the harbour multiple times and going up the Peak at night on the famous Peak Tram. After all that, it was almost a disappointment to pick up my visa no problem and head out.

    ... in one of our hotel's restaurants, which was a buffet that was buy one get one free! We called it an early night, hoping to head to Disneyland the next day. Although we were too tired to explore, we could already tell Hong Kong was going to be our favorite city.     ... We found some lotus flowers with the most vibrant colours, they were stunning - as you can see from the photos! The flower market was just shop after shop packed full of flowers - it's a shame we don't have something similar in the UK, it beats every florist I have ever been into.
