Hostel was great. A little bit too expensive though. We payed 21 euro for a night for one person only because had a valid card for cheaper hostels. We failed "Snowman Building 101" !!!

A beautiful sunny day was begun by our feeble attempts to build a snowman - we assumed it was such an easy thing to do - wrong! The snow just would not stay together - kept sliding off whenever we tried to build it up. After about an hour Gregor tells us that the snow is too powdery for building snowmen - the moisture comtent is very low (feels bloody cold and wet to me!!!) this makes us feel better ...
South to warmer weather.
... had locals flying past us at incredible speeds. Many tunnels through this beautiful mountainous region - longest was 10.1km but there was another 8.3 km and many over a kilometre in length. Not great views but makes short work of the journey. Noted temperature climb to 16° inside longer tunnels and then plummet back to 0° once back into the open.
Called in to Graz Nord Shooping Complex to buy Austrian internet card for computer, new shoes for Cheryl, other bits ...
Budapest
... all fairly excited about heading West and maybe having some rain. Yes, you miss it when its gone. Especially when its hot enough to fail to cook an egg on your engine. Anyway.
