August 26 Tuesday London to Copenhagen Another relaxing night enjoying our Harrods delicacy for supper and an early night all ready for our Scandinavian adventures for the next two weeks. While overcast it was not raining. Jeppesens always have a Plan B, which was necessary this morning when we heard on tv that there were rail problems on the Northern line, which we only needed for the 1 station from Angel to Kings Cross, where we transfer to the Piccadilly ...

I left plenty of time for the train (I got bored) but no-one could tell me where my train was going from so I went with the person who sounded most confident; however that train was going to Prague with ...

... walking distance of anywhere in the city, and the system is totally modern and well thought out. Granted, it ought to be, considering the Danish tax programs that make it three times more expensive to own a car than in the US, but I'm not complaining.

Denmark is a much more stereotypical European country than Ireland seems to be, too. It certainly lends some perspective on how different my own study abroad experience could be.
