    ... the process; a team of two women came with 3 big laundry bags an hour before our reservations and started dressing us. It wasn't too complicated for the men and it only took us a few minutes, but for the women it took nearly 10 (including hair and such...). My favorite part were the socks, they had two little sections for the toes, one for the big toe and one for the rest s it would fit better in to the flip-flop-like traditional Japanese footwear.     I can't believe it's my final day in Tokyo (for now) - it's gone far too quickly. A good sign though. I'm very excited about catching the Shinkansen (bullet train) tomorrow. Tokyo to Kyoto in about 2 and a half hours. Amazing. I had breakfast in the hotel again this morning - bacon butty, sausage, scrambled egg, miso soup, grilled fish and yoghurt with fruit. Good stuff.     ... Tokyo station to this one? Nope, nothing except buildings, a suburbs and skyscrapers all the way. When we got there it was like we stepped out into another city centre, tall building everywhere. Have i mentioned before that Tokyo is ridiculously massive?? :)

    ... t even aisles really. It looked more like a warehouse selling every single kitchen gadget that has ever been invented. It was so tempting to fill a shopping basket with peelers, paring knives, spiral cutters and letter stamps. But, restaurant quality instruments also come with restaurant quality price tags, like $8000 for a sushi knife. We found plenty of tea pots and tea sets here, but didn't make a purchase yet.     ... beautiful gardens. There is one thing that Tokyo does well, and that is make the most out of the beautiful outdoor spaces they have, there is a surplus of gorgeous parks in Tokyo which are perfect for relaxing in on a summers day.
