... Two -- (he worked on/owned the pheasant farm we'd wandered on to) showed us the escape route, down through the rosy scented Broad Campden, to home.

Fourthly there's the largest minority ethnic group, aka TOURISTS.

We have no need OR desire to blend in with this group especially as we're now locals!

How superior we can feel now as we confidently stride down the High Street knowing that we're among the blessed few who actually LIVE here in this fab place ...

... Man is a movie not easily forgotten.

Down below, surrounded by a very precarious kind of natural amphitheatre were the games proper—the obstacle course, sack race, picture game (too complicated to even try to explain) and the piece de resistance, the shin-kicking competition.

... I'm a little worried about running between the wickets as Paul Thomas is again my batting partner. He scampers through for some good singles and a couple of twos before running himself out. It was his call and perhaps he forgot the fieldsman was Vinnie, substituting for one of their guys who had to go off. Vinnie is one of our better arms and Paul failed to beat his flat throw. Apparently this is the third ...

... Its an interesting place but too "family friendly" for my liking. Bryony would call it Disneyland Castle and there are way too many people here for me to feel comfortable. I share Bryony's dislike of crowds and crowded places so I eventually bid farewell to the others and tell them i'll catch a bus back to Leamington Spa. At the bus centre I find two buses, both going to Leamington. I choose one and of course the other is the ...
