A famous man once told me that the only thing you can be sure about in life is change.
First of all we haven't seen spike since the last big storm on the river. I hope he made it ashore and found happiness.
I have attached some pictures that will show you where we are in Demopolis and some taken by Mike and Dana of "Journey" as we arrived here and they helped us tie up.

We had nowhere to pull off the river so we slowed to idle and kept a close watch. The water here was extremely muddy and full of logs and limbs. Someone has to man the lookout for trash in the water while someone guides the tiller and two men handle the buckets.
They started off running great and then the old overheating problem reared it's ugly head. The new thermostat they just put on was not working right, so after talking with Bob Porter (who sailed with Joey's dad for many years and has a boat with this same engine), they decided to take the thermostat off and run it without.
