... had gone to see Les Miserables. While we were waiting for her we decided to go to a pub and possibly get food. Walking into this Pub we thought for sure we would be carded since we look so young but we weren't. They never card here which is surprising since I look about 15 years old. The food didn't end up happening but we had a couple drinks (I had a cider) and we people watched since everyone was out partying for their saturday night. Afterwards we got lost trying ...
... we got to pick our toppings! They were actually pretty tasty too, with a delicious deep pan base! Cheap and delicious and unhealthy! After we ate, we headed back to Vodafone, where this time, there was no one there! Score! So we went in, and got £10 of credit put on Darren's phone so we could contact people while we were here, then we headed down to the metro and made our way, on the tube, to Knightsbridge, where we were going to be meeting Hinn. ...
... dinner was fantastic, great food, great company... and so ends our first full day in London. Our 2nd full day in London is bright and sunny and we had booked the London Eye for 2pm as we trusted in Gwendolines iPhone weather forecast!! We were being picked up at 9am by Brian so were up and in the breakfast room bright and early, breakfast here is good but not as good as in Greece. We have a choice of boxed cereals, yoghurt ( that doesn't come close to the Greek variety ), ...
... Our London itinerary:
Tuesday - walk through Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, and Green Park; joined a walking tour for a couple of hours; joined an open top bus tour for a couple of hours; then walked around the city for a while.
QI fact: Green Park is so called because it has no flower beds. Charles II used to tell his wife he was going to smell the flowers in the park, but that's not really what he was smelling. His wife found out what he was really up to ...
