... museum, we logically thought we'd easily catch two taxis back to the Hostel, where we had stored our luggage for the day. Our train, for which we had already purchased tickets, was scheduled to depart Hangzhou for Suzhou at 5:49 pm. Our tea tasting ended at 3:00 pm. She was travelling through the country conducting trainings. We were lucky enough to meet up in the beautiful Hangzhou - a short train ride from Shanghai. The lotuses were in bloom so we were treated to a feast for the eyes and soul. It was a beautiful day and so wonderful to catch up with an old friend and ...

... Sunday. It is a train without tracks, that hovers over magnets at speeds reaching 500 km/hour. It was the first of its kind in the world, but we think there may be one in Japan. So that was badass. Now we're back at the Shanghai airport. We were too early to check our luggage. We said goodbye to the whole family, all of whom had earlier flights and spent 2 hours outside of security shlepping it. Now we are comfortably seated in a lounge with ...
