Today we visited an area that I had only seen on Pinterest! It was amazing. Temples, walkways and shrines, as well as hotels all clinging to the sides of the mountains...we climbed up and down numerous stairs leading to very decorative temples. It certainly gave our hearts a workout...we did about 16,000 steps today... That was before it started to rain! Well we were actually back in town ...
Fantastic pedicure and foot massage. Didn't realise until walking afterwards just how completely shot-to-**** my feet were, it felt like walking on air.
Befriended a Spanish couple that we had seen in the same restaurant a us yesterday and shared a taxi to the train station together. It was awesome to meet fellow climbers and especially ones who focus that travelling and vacations around climbing!!

I was beyond happy that we were finally get to return to Beijing. However, we did get to check out the peak we were supposed to see the day before. I chose to take the bus there because I was not in the mood to walk.
The peak itself was stunning and the sun was out.
We then got on the bus to Beijing.
At a gas station, our bus cut in front of a huge truck. So crazy how ...
... Stephanie told me that Anthony was screaming my name in the hallway. I opened her door and Anthony and Rae were standing there. Anthony told me that he was looking all over for me since I had the room key.
Later that night for Halloween, I watched the Shining with a group of people. Half way, I got bored because I was sleepy. I went to back to my room. Also, I already watched the movie before.
... but we made it. We unfortunately could not devour Wilson the Third because Phoenix forgot his knife. We did not, however, starve.
Back in Taiyuan, we went back to our first lunch place in Shanxi for our last meal together. We toasted with the last of our tea to a great success.
