By this time, we had run out of time and had to make the dash back to the ship to make sure were arrived in time for the sailing. The visit to the market street would have been interesting though. Our drive ...

... beds. Then I got out of there because I was getting creeped out and there were loads of spiders. By this point it was getting late and I decided to find somewhere to stay. My guide book recommended to stay in a tulou and said that because lots of people have moved out, most tulou clusters will have places for you to sleep. ... night, this time we dined with Cheryl, her Dad Tom and her twins, William and Kate, lovely family from Melbourne. We had a great meal, lots of drinks and great company, we sat right at the front where everyone came into the dining room, so we all kept chatting to people we knew as they walked in and out, this was a great spot!!
After dinner, there was a production show so we all went to see it, but it had already started but what we saw was good.

Had a lazy day today staying around the Hotel Indigo. We walked down Zhongshan Lu and had lunch at Aijsen Ramen, one of our favourite Japanese restaurant chains. We then wandered back to the hotel and had afternoon tea sitting up in the restaurant area overlooking the harbour and Gulangyu Island, unfortunately not warm or nice enough to sit outside.
