    Had an early start this morning to get to the train station. We thought we were near the station, but the guide told me we were near the 'main' train station and NOT Xi'An North (Bei).     ... of course I went early, but it was still late for me. It was good for me, as most of the Chinese teachers there were from my school, so I knew them all. Kesa's friend decorated an amazing cake for her. It looked terrific as it had a drawing of Kesa with her birth year - horns on it. There were a few drinking games but they were tame compared to ones at Renee's party but still, they were fun.

    ... how important education is to each family and how the future job of the child may bring better outcomes for the family. Ya Fei was also from one of the nearby villages, and the whole village helped his parents pay for his education. Ya Fei was the first to go pass the entrance exam to Yi Gao. He will now have responsibilities to assist others from the village.
