Our hotel was a lovely Chinese house and a very good choice. Our concierge remarked that they had 24h warm water in the hotel (which after living in Shanghai seems to be commonsense everywhere places but of course is not normal in a country like China). Students here are so friendly but one thing about them was, they really stare at us whenever we went. So which was really uncomfortable for us to roam around freely. But most of all I had a great time there.
