    ... we had was the hour transfer to Yichang- the main industry town and our home for less than 12 hours. We got dropped off at the Yichang East Railway Station and again with no map or clue (even the Lonely Planet doesn't registrar Yichang) we queued up for a taxi and hoped for the best.     ... villages and towns and farmlands and glimpsed every day life in China. The people are beautiful, especially the children.

    My suitcase is ever expanding. And I can truly say that what I’ve purchased was made in China. Although, some of I see looks like stuff that I saw that was made in India so who knows! There’s so much stuff here, lots of it junk, but some of it really special and some of the handicrafts are truly lovely.

    ... one bagpiper and singing river men. After the return trip we did lunch and rested before heading out to the White Emperor’s City. Inside we saw hanging coffins close up and did some shopping.

    We polished off dinner with shopping and watching the light fade from our balcony and viewing the last of the three gorges.
