... peanuts with their chopsticks in one minute. Everyone grabbed at the same time. It was hilarious chaos. Kamie tied for second at our table with 16 peanuts. I gave-up at about five. We were told today the red-skinned peanuts are good for your blood and if you are giving birth and need extra blood, you should eat red-skinned peanuts. Well, they go well with the beer they served us. Hot tea, beer, and Coke were the drink offerings today. I stuck with the beer as the hot ...

... were met by an APT bus and local guide for the 40 minute drive to reach our boat. There were some sections of very rough road but most of the trip was on a tollway. We arrived in Yichang early in the morning and the first thing we noticed is that it was very ...

... it's going to be a long night and afternoon as the train doesn't go until 9 and it's only just gone 2. There's nothing to do here in Yichang and if the timing had worked I could have done the east to west cruise instead and saved myself this little local adventure! I managed to put down and loose my perscription sunnies on board, never to be seen again, so that will have to be rectified. That will be an interesting ...

... br> We went to a "Welcome Cocktail Party" at 17:00 this evening – which actually consisted of an already used martini glass of beer and about 5 minutes of chatting before we were hurried along, and people would stand around behind us holding their drinks and having photographs of themselves taken to look like they were standing with us! Sometimes I can’t decide if I feel like a movie star or a freak show! But it’s nice to be asked to ...
