Arriving in town, I walked to my hostel and experienced my first real culture shock since I've been in China, there were about 10 westerners hanging out in the restaurant.     ... on the way in. A Civil Engineer's dream! I was loving it. After a few hours looking around we headed back and stopped off for lunch. It turns out there are a few local hot-pot style dishes made with fish from the Yangtse River. We had to try one and it was delicious, the fish was so fresh it was killed and chopped up in front of us!
