We had a bit of trouble finding the number 1 mini bus , but a nice man showed us the way after we had wandered around a very new shopping plaza. It was hot as we alighted the bus and we looked around for the walk signs. Not easy to read but we thought we knew where we were going and off we set. It started out ...

When I was 18 I hitch-hiked 9,000 miles around North America. Three years later, I hitched through South Africa, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), Zambia, Tanzania and Kenya. For 3 days I was the only human being on Kilimanjaro, except for one party going the other way. But then I settled down, worked, got married, raised a family. Now I an free and foot-loose again, so last year I taught English at Jiangxi Univ ...
