In about an hour and a half into her rest, she got up to go to the bathroom and wanted privacy, which was very hard for us to do, so we stood in the door. She was able to go, and then a bit later to pee. Her stomach had settled.

    ... was, as a result, bland and not so good. We then did a brief driving tour of this little 170,000 population town. It is growing incredibly with new high rise condos everywhere. But on a hot and muggy Sunday afternoon, the streets were deserted. Seeing the same kind of shops and buildings, we decided to head back to the hotel for some rest so that we could be up for a good evening when the sun was down and it was a bit cooler.

    ... spectacular granite mountains. I completed my loop and returned back at the starting point by 2:00. As I still had some hours before the bus back to Yushan, I found a much smaller loop on the map and explored it. The sun even made an appearance, providing some beautiful photo opportunities.
