We have finally set off on our big white Christmas adventure....we flew out of Sydney at 1130am for Hong Kong....the flight was ok....they had grouped all the parents with children together within a few rows so our kids made friends with the short term neighbours fairly quickly...! ... for about 6 hours but the final 3 were a bit tiring so we napped.

Arrived on time just after 10pm in Melbourne. Picked up some duty free then outside to be met by Angus to take us home to Geelong. It is currently 5 degrees and we feel it.
Back in Geelong and showered we lay our heads down at 1am where we are about to dream about our trip for a beautiful 8 hours.

I seem to need about six hours sleep per night these days. So when I fell asleep at 10pm, it was perhaps expected that I'd wake up at 5am, even without my hated alarms. It was dark outside, so I decided to "sleep in" till 6am. So once it hit 6am with much screeching and cheery tuning, I was already up and putting my running shoes on to hit the road with a sunrise run.
