... amazing. If there wasn't a bakery or deli, I swear there were air fresheners. I've never travelled in a better smelling city! The first day we strolled around our side of the island, shopping and riding the escalator system to midtown. Honestly, the vendor stalls are better than the high end stores. We made sure to hit the Temple Street night markets in Kowloon before retiring for the night. The next day we slept in, which really only happens ...

... with us, and spoke continuously as she showed us the around the apartment. Then, she was gone.

We dropped our bags then headed out looking for food. Just after 1am on a Sunday night, and everything was open and there were people everywhere on the adjoining main streets - Bleeker and MacDougall. We grabbed a slice of sausage pizza each. I've been talking about that pizza eversince. It was incredible. We then went back to the apartment to sleep.

... huge monastery in the middle of the mountains (you get a cable car to it) and its is where the biggest bronze Buddha in the world sits. It is a very surreal place to go and potentially one of my favourite places here. Yes it was full of tourists, yet it seemed like the most peaceful and calm environments I have ever been in - it has a very strange sense of calm and serenity.
