We watched the bands march through the town, finally congregating in front the Lindon cafes. Here they stood in the rain and played in turn, then marched back into the city. The whole occasion was watched over by a large crowd of Greeks, both from Corfu and the mainland, who braved the rain and cheered the bands. It was definitely worth getting out of bed for. ...
