      ... the sun to come out after about 15 mins on the ferry – and hence we had a very smooth and sunny passage (though slightly choppy). The approach into the harbour (“caldera”) is absolutely stunning and a great way to get a first look at it; can’t be beaten for the first look at it.       ... do a special drink called the tequila slammer. Its not that the drinks that amazing but more the fact that you get whacked. Literally. They give you a crash helmet and whack you ******* the head with what ever the bar tender feels like! Be it fire extinguisher, beer crate or a mallet. Crazy town.       ... at our boat, Afroditi. Santorini was formed from a volcano, Nea Kameni - we visited some sulphuris hot springs near the still active volcano. I was stained orange after coming out of the water. Insta-tan! Then we hiked the volcano and had great views of Santorini island and the cities of Oia and Fira.
