... down. Kyle Lawson our Repiano Cornet was so ill that he was admitted to hospital for observation after contracting a virus. He missed the concert and his seat was filled very capably by Raynor Martin. 3rd 3rd Cornet to Rep is a serious promotion and a big gig to sightread! One of the most poignant moments in our programme is a cornet trio in West Side Story (Somewhere) between the Repiano, Solo Cornet and 2nd Cornet. Every night we get to hear this played by ...

The living is cheap here in Linyi, a bus ride is fifteen cents and you can find all you can eat Korean Barbeque for $3 Canadian. That means more money for postcards and vacations to foreign lands, which it seems we get to do a lot of too.

Adventure is what I sent out for and adventure is what I`ll get. I could have read many a book about China, but no book could compare to the real experience I am getting as I am only just ...

... a Chinese experience! One of the interns from last summer arrived in Weifang this morning. He had been traveling in China and is here till Saturday. It is very interesting to see hear how different his experience was. There were many more children and much less nurses last summer. The next few days will be packed with buying gifts for the orphanage and doing the last few activities in Weifang. Then Saturday I'm off to Beijing to explore the city! Hope all is well in the states! Love ...
