... considering we haven't yet seen the sky for the smog! So we decided we will wait for another day and went to an area called 1912 which is a series of streets with restaurants, bars and clubs. It's a bit touristy but very nice and we went to a bar called Blue Marlin where we had lots of beer and some pizza. Not very Chinese-y but everyone had a great night with good chat. I exchanged emails with the two Chinese girls Carol and Sunny (those are their English names!) ...
... It consisted of noodles and lettuce fried and placed in a round freshly fried rice bread. Then kebab meat or in my case a fried egg was added and the whole thing rolled burrito-style. It was very tasty and filling the growing hole in my stomach well without being too greasy at first. ... there from 2pm and they didn't appear until 4! Anyway, we got the bus which was comfortable and after about 20 minutes very quiet as we all fell asleep. The journey took about 4 hours with a short toilet (back to the squatting, I thought "right, here we go again!") and food break and the NUAA students were very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the campus where it turns out we are staying at an onsite hotel rather than in student dorms which I was a little disappointed by. ...

Very happy times here and whenever I hear Avici's 'Wake Me Up' or 'Someone Like You' or Calvin Harris' 'Summer' I will be transported straight back here!
